Terms & Conditions
PLEASE IMMEDIATELY OPEN AND INSPECT TUBERS UP RECEIVING THEM.
Please open and inspect immediately upon receiving tubers to check for any damage during shipping. Once open, tubers are your responsibility to safely store until planting. Keep in a cool dark location (between 40-50 degrees F) until ready to plant. Tubers that are left unopened, neglected, or storage failure will not be refunded.
What you’re receiving
You are receiving a tuber(s) which will grow into a plant that will bloom August until first frost. You are not receiving blooms.
Refunds & Cancellations
If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please cancel before April 1st to receive a full refund. Cancellations after April 1st will not be fully refunded. If you receive your order and would like a refund, a refund will be sent for tubers that are sent back in healthy conditions and with visible eyes. If tubers come back damaged, rotted, or in conditions they were not sent in, they will not be refunded. This process must be done before June 1st. Refunds will not be given if you fail to properly store tubers, once they're in your care they're your responsibility. No refunds will be issued for tuber failure after planting. Dahlias are notoriously divas, I know it’s hard to invest in something that didn’t grow. Doing proper care and research will help your odds in growing. Please contact me immediately if any of issues arise before planting, no refunds for any reason will be issued after June 1st.
Substitutions/Crop Failure
Storage failure unfortunately happens, even to the best of us. If there is any problems with an order you’ve placed I will issue a refund for effected tubers and email you explaining what happened, or if possible I will contact you through email with the option for a substitution.
Disease & Virus
Disease and Virus are unfortunately very common in dahlias, the American Dahlia Society states that 87% of existing dahlias have some kind of virus. A lot of diseases are spread by bugs, ground soil, potting soil, and even water. I do not cover disease or viruses since they are so easily transmitted and cannot determine where it originated. I am well versed in diseases, viruses, pests, etc and take all precautions to stop anything from spreading. At the first sign of any discoloration in the leaves, the dahlia is immediately inspected to determine if it’s low in nutrients, or diseased then immediately culled if it diseased. I use 70 isopropyl alcohol to disinfect all tools between cutting tubers, flowers, and cuttings. We take as many precautions as we can, dahlias are inspected weekly, if not daily.
Cuttings
Cuttings are all done here on our "farm" and are all done by myself. Every tool and surface used while doing cuttings is disinfected with 70% isopropyl solution, or bleach between each cutting. Cuttings are all contained individually, and watered individually to lower the risk of any type of disease spreading. Once a cutting is in your care they are your responsibility, no refunds will be issued if they fail once out of my care. If you have any questions, or issues with a cutting please contact me immediately.
Rudeness & Disrespect
Rude or disrespectful emails and/or comments on social media towards the seller will not be tolerated. Any kind of rude or harassing emails/comments on social media will result in cancelled orders.
