Terms & Conditions

PLEASE IMMEDIATELY OPEN AND INSPECT TUBERS UP RECEIVING THEM.

Please open and inspect immediately upon receiving tubers to check for any damage during shipping. Once open, tubers are your responsibility to safely store until planting. Keep in a cool dark location (between 40-50 degrees F) until ready to plant. Tubers that are left unopened or neglected for long periods of time will not be refunded.

What you’re receiving

You are receiving a tuber(s) which will grow into a plant that will bloom August until first frost. You are not receiving blooms.

Refunds & Cancellations

If for any reason you need to cancel your order, please cancel before April 1st to receive a full refund. Cancellations after April 1st will not be fully refunded. Refunds will be sent for tubers that are sent back in healthy conditions and with visible eyes. No refunds will be issued for tuber failure after planting. Dahlias are notoriously divas, I know it’s hard to invest in something that didn’t grow but doing proper care and research will help your odds in growing. Please contact me immediately if any of issues arise before planting.

Substitutions/Crop Failure

Storage failure unfortunately happens even to the best of us, if there is any problems with an order you’ve placed I will issue a refund for effected tubers and email you explaining what happened, or if possible I will contact you through email with the option for a substitution.

Disease & Virus

Disease and Virus are unfortunately very common in dahlias, the American Dahlia Society states that 87% of existing dahlias have some kind of virus. A lot of diseases are spread by bugs, ground soil, potting soil, and even water. I do not cover disease or viruses since they are so easily transmitted and cannot determine where it originated. I am well versed in diseases, viruses, pests, etc and take all precautions to stop anything from spreading. At the first sign of any discoloration in the leaves, the dahlia is immediately inspected to determine if it’s low in nutrients, or diseased then immediately culled if it diseased. I use 70 isopropyl alcohol to disinfect all tools between cutting tubers, or flowers, dahlias are inspected weekly, if not daily. There has only been gall once in my garden a few years ago (knock on wood!), those tubers and soil were immediately culled, and nothing has been planted in that area since.

Rudeness & Disrespect

Rude or disrespectful emails and/or comments towards the seller will not be tolerated. Any kind of rude or harassing emails/comments will result in cancelled orders.
